The present invention relates to a wood stove capable of burning for a long time by allowing a large amount of wood to be input at one time and supplied to a firebox and, more specifically, to an innovative stove, like a pellet stove, including a wood storage box installed over a firebox and allowing a large amount of wood to be supplied and burnt in the firebox sequentially from the bottom of the stacked wood, thereby burning for a long time without a further load of wood. Thus, the wood stove of the present invention may reduce a smoke leak into a room and save a user from a lot of inconvenience that the user should input wood every hour or two. The wood stove has a structure in which several funnels are installed at appropriate positions based on tornado theory so that combustion inside the firebox is promoted so as to reach perfect combustion, smoke and flames generated in the firebox are prevented from rising to the wood storage box, and even a small quantity of smoke reaching the wood storage box is prevented from going into the room. Accordingly, the perfect combustion of the wood in the firebox is achieved by natural ingress of air by the tornado theory, thereby increasing the calorific value and preventing emission of smoke through a stovepipe. |
