The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a herbal tonic for postpartum care for people resting after giving birth. The method includes: an ingredient preparation step for preparing 1.5 kg of snakehead and 150 g of salt as main ingredients, 150 g of glutinous rice, 150 g of Codonopsis lanceolata(S. et Z.)TRAUTV, 150 g of Platycodon grandiflorum (JACQ) A. DC., five to seven roots of Astragalus membranaceus Bunge var. membranaceus (medicinal herb), 20 jujubes, five to seven dried shiitake mushrooms, five wild pine mushrooms (optional), five Chaga mushrooms (50 g) and 80 g of hericium erinaceum as auxiliary ingredients, 35 g of ginger, 80 g of white parts on green onion, 10 whole bulbs of garlic, and 12 peppers as spices, and 30 cc of sesame oil and eight liters of clear water (similar to the level of tap water) as seasonings; a precooking step in which salting and rubbing are performed on the snakehead in order to completely washing sticky precipitation from the snakehead, after the head portion of the snakehead is blinded by a towel and the snakehead becomes unconscious by being hit at the head; and a cooking step in which the snakehead is put onto a frying pan heated with sesame oil and slightly fried until becoming yellowish, boiling down the snakehead and other ingredients in a large pot for one hour within eight liters of water, and filtering two liters of liquefied herbal tonic, after boiling down for three more hours when the water decreases to 1/3 (the color of the herbal tonic is white). |
