Disclosed are a cyclone to reform a residue produced when crude petroleum is purified into a high value product by using a catalyst, and a residue catalytic cracker using the same. The cyclone and the residue catalytic cracker according to the present invention are formed while one side of an intake pipe is in contact and combined with the outer circumference surface of the cyclone and the intake pipe is formed in an arc shape along the outer circumference surface of the cyclone of a housing. Accordingly, a space in which the cyclone takes is reduced and then, the volume of first and second main bodies wherein the cyclone is installed is reduced. In the other words, the volume of a reactor and a regenerator can be reduced. Moreover, any one cyclone which is mutually and closely arranged with the other cyclone gets less interference from the other cyclone when the cyclone is installed inside the first and second main bodies. Therefore, an assembling work can be convenience. Furthermore, the intake pipe is in contact with the outer circumference surface of the housing and is rounded as an arc shape and then, the catalyst inserted along the intake pipe passes through the inner circumference surface of the housing. Accordingly, collecting efficiency of the catalyst can be improved. |
