The present invention relates to a mobile terminal detecting a blood flow rate of a wrist on which a watch-type mobile terminal is worn and providing a function adaptive to a situation, and a control method thereof. Specifically, the mobile terminal includes: a band which is worn on a wrist of a user; a sensing unit sensing the blood flow rate flowing on the wrist when the band is worn on the wrist of the user; and a control unit executing a certain function based on the measure blood flow rate. |
