Provided is a tape printing device with which label length can be set without the user inputting the label length. The tape printing device is provided with: a unit length storage section for storing a measure length (Ls) as a standard unit length that serves as a standard for label length (La), which is the length of a label (A) to be applied on a grid calendar (Ca); a unit number-acquiring section for acquiring the period (P) to receive the label application as the number of standard units corresponding to the label length (La); a label length-setting section for setting the label length (La) on the basis of the stored measure length (Ls) and the acquired period (P) to receive the label application; and a feeding section for feeding the tape by the established label length (La).
