<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing retainer capable of improving the responsiveness of a member swung finely at a high speed during the fine swing while simultaneously reducing manufacturing cost and improving manufacturing efficiency, by reducing the contact area of each pocket and a rolling element using an existing retainer. <P>SOLUTION: Pockets 4p for retaining the rolling element 2 are circumferentially provided in a retainer body 4 which is in a concentric fashion having a center axis Ax. Where the distance between the center axis and the center Ps of each pocket is a pocket center radius r1, the distance between the center axis and the outer diameter surface 4a of the retainer body is a retainer outer radius r2, and the distance between the center axis and the inner diameter surface 4b of the retainer body is a retainer inner radius r3, the difference M1 between r1 and r2 and the difference M2 between r1 and r3 meet the requirement of M1≤M2. The diameter 2PCD of a virtual circle 2Pc obtained by continuously connecting the centers 2s of the rolling elements is set within the range of 100.1-101.5% of the diameter 4PCD of a virtual circle 4Pc obtained by continuously connecting the centers of the pockets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
