<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal printer which can be reduced in size. <P>SOLUTION: In the multiple thermal printer 1 where a plurality of print units 100 having a thermal head 161 for printing on a matter to be printed with an ink ribbon 3 are arranged in parallel, there is provided a print receiving rotor 41 which is constituted so as to approach and separate from a plurality of the thermal heads 161 of the plurality of print units 100, and while approaching the thermal heads 161, rotates while contacting with the matter to be printed so that a printing surface of the matter to be printed faces the ink ribbon 3 positioned between the thermal head 161 and the printing surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
