PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel image forming device having a power saving mode taking temperature characteristics of a secondary battery into consideration.SOLUTION: The image forming device, which can utilize a secondary battery as driving power supply, includes: printing means for printing an image; temperature detecting means for detecting a temperature in the device; and a control unit that drivingly controls the printing means. The control unit, when the detected temperature in the device exceeds a predetermined threshold, drives the printing means in a first driving waveform; and when the detected temperature in the device is equal to the predetermined threshold or less, drives the printing means in a second waveform smaller in vibrational amplitude than the first driving waveform.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
