PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card edge connector capable of protecting a contact part until accommodation of a terminal into a housing, and of keeping a contact load.SOLUTION: A card edge connector 1 comprises: a housing 3; an insertion part 9 provided on the housing 3 and into which an end part of a substrate unit 7 is inserted; and a plurality of terminals 13 arranged at the insertion part 9 and provided with a contact part 11 elastically contacted with a conductor part of a circuit board 5. A locking lance 15 is provided in the housing 3. The terminal 13 has a box part 17 that accommodates the contact part 11 and that is engaged with the locking lance 15 in a state accommodated in the housing 3. The contact part 11 is made abut on the locking lance 15 in a state that the box part 17 is engaged with the locking lance 15, and arranged in the insertion part 9 so as to be exposed from the box part 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
