A wiring unit (U) installed in the automatic transmission of an automobile and used to control gear shifting operations, the wiring unit being provided with a wire harness (WH), a ROM (1) connected to the wire harness, and a metal holding plate (2) for holding the wire harness and the ROM. A holding part (33) to which the ROM (1) is mounted is formed in the holding plate (2), and a plurality of clipping pieces (36) for clipping the ROM (1) onto the holding part (33) are integrally formed in the holding part (33). A positioning protuberance (37) is formed on the ROM (1), and a receiving hole (39) into which the positioning protuberance (37) can fit in a conforming manner is formed in the holding part (33). |
