<p>The method involves activating supposition of a defective operation of an ambient pressure sensor (11) by observing signal of the sensor (11). Mass flow, charge pressure and inlet conduit pressure sensors (12-14) of an air supply determine a comparison value for an ambient pressure sensor signal measurement value when the supposition is activated. The sensor (11) is concluded as defective if preset difference exists between the values. An independent claim is also included for a device for diagnosing sensors of an air supply of an internal combustion engine.</p> |
