摘要 This invention makes it possible to make testing performed on a driving device more efficient or convenient while preventing human error from occurring when, for example, double-checking user input or device behavior. To that end, this driving-device testing device is provided with a communication interface unit, a storage unit, and a control unit, as follows. The driving device being tested is connected to the communication interface. Said driving device is set in advance with a value for each of a number of categories determined in accordance with, for example, the specifications of an electric motor being driven. A category definition file is stored in advance in the storage unit, and for each of the aforementioned categories, said category definition file contains a factory-default initial setting for the driving device for that category in association with an identifier that uniquely indicates that category. By means of communication via the communication interface unit, the control unit acquires the per-category values with which the driving device has been set. The control unit also reads out the initial settings for the categories corresponding to said values from the category definition file and displays both, along with the identifiers that indicate said categories, on a display device.
