The present invention relates to an earth check tester for a socket, which enables any user to check easily whether electricity is applied to the socket currently and earthing is done, and enables the user to measure an earthing resistance value after the earthing is checked. According to the present invention to realize the objective, the earth check tester for a socket includes: a pair of power ports (21) are protruded on a front end of a housing (20) to be inserted into a port hole (11) of the socket (10); an earthing port (22) to contact a socket earthing pin (12) formed at one side of the housing (20); and a lighting lamp (30) to display electricity and earthing state of the socket (10) formed at another side of the housing (20). The housing (20) comprises a pair of resistance measurement ports (23a, 23b) formed at both surfaces symmetrically in order to be connected to a port rod (41) of a tester (40) to measure the earthing resistance of the socket (10). And an opening/closing cover (24) is constituted to prevent external exposure of the resistance measurement ports (23a, 23b). |
