Disclosed are a receiver for a broadcast and a signal processor for the receiver for a broadcast which simplify hardware using an IIR filter and improve group delay characteristics. The signal processor for the receiver for a broadcast comprises: a first signal processing unit which processes an inputted digitalized intermediate frequency signal for a digital TV to be a digital signal and outputs the digital signal; and a second signal processing unit which processes an inputted digitized intermediate frequency signal for an analog TV to be a digital signal and outputs the digital signal. Each of the first and second signal processing units processes a signal by using at least one infinite impulse response (IIR) filter.
