The present invention relates to a trichlorosilane (TCS) production method and, more specifically, to a trichlorosilane production method which ensures production of trichlorosilane with an increased yield using catalyst-supported silicon. According to the present invention, the production method comprises the following steps: supporting a first metal catalyst on metal silicon (MG-Si); and carrying out chloro-hydrogenation after supplying hydrogen and silicon tetrachloride to the metal silicon supported with the first metal catalyst.
