PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member in which an optical pattern is easily recognizable.SOLUTION: An optical member 1 includes: n of first polarizing patterns 31 each formed to have a width W1 and a slow axis in a first direction; (n-1) of second polarizing patterns 32 each formed to have a width W1 and a slow axis in a second direction, alternately arranged with the above n of the first polarizing patterns 31; a third polarizing pattern 33 formed to have a width W2 larger than the width W1 and a slow axis in the second direction, and adjoining to the n-th first polarizing pattern 31; a fourth polarizing pattern 34 having a slow axis in the first direction and adjoining to the third polarizing pattern 33; a fifth polarizing pattern 35 formed to have a width larger than the width W1 and a slow axis in the second direction, and adjoining to the first of the first polarizing pattern 31; and a sixth polarizing pattern 36 having a slow axis in the first direction and adjoining to the fifth polarizing pattern 35. |
