In the present invention, provided are carbon quantum dots and a preparing method of the same. Each of the carbon quantum dots comprises: a) a core composed of a carbide precursor containing a water-soluble organic matter which includes a carboxylic group with one to ten carbons; b) a shell containing a water-soluble organic compound containing nitrogen; and c) at least one selected from an aqueous solution and an organic solvent. A preparing method of quantum dots in the present invention can synthesize carbon quantum dots in a mass quantity with a high efficiency based on a doping effect by including nitrogen. Also, the preparing method of quantum dots can adjust an efficiency of fluorescence by adjusting amounts of an aqueous organic matter with nitrogen, a carbide precursor, and a reducing agent. |
