The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for providing a selection service of international dialing prefix. The apparatus for providing a selection service of international dialing prefix comprises: an interface unit for transmitting and receiving data to and from a communications terminal; an international telephone service information storage unit for storing a rate information list of each provider including international call rate information for each international call provider and an international dialing prefix list of each provider including international dialing prefix for each international call provider; and an international telephone service information providing unit for providing the international dialing prefix list of each provider to the communications terminal and extracting incoming country rate information for each provider, which is rate information for each provider of an incoming country corresponding to a country code, from the rate information list of each provider, when receiving a country code and a phone number in the country transmitted from the communications terminal through the interface unit. |
