PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control unit capable of reducing the necessary capacity of a data retention area.SOLUTION: An electronic control unit comprises: calculation means (S120, S140) calculating a plurality of types of control data; a nonvolatile memory capable of rewriting data; write means (S150) sequentially writing type-information-added control data obtained by adding type information indicating the types of the control data to the control data calculated by the calculation means, to a data write area; and retention means (S160 to S180) reading the type-information-added control data containing the control data corresponding to a retention condition corresponding to any of the plurality of types of control data, if satisfied, from the data write area on the basis of the type information, and writing the read type-information-added control data to a data retention area in the nonvolatile memory. |
