PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type work vehicle which displaces a fuel tank to an open position easily and with high stability and easily holds the fuel tank there for maintenance check of a top face of an engine.SOLUTION: The walking type work machine includes a link mechanism 6 and a rotation mechanism 8 for fitting a fuel tank 5 to a machine body 1 so as to change between an open attitude separate from the machine body 1 and a closed attitude close to the machine body 1. The link mechanism 6 includes a machine body side bracket 7, a tank side bracket 51, and a link body 60 which is connected with the machine body side bracket 7 via a first joint part 6A and connected with the tank side bracket 51 via a second joint part 6B. Any one of the first joint part 6A and the second joint part 6B is formed from a guide hole 74 and a guide link pin 61, and the other of the first joint part 6A and the second joint part 6B is formed as an oscillation fulcrum. |
