An information processing device including a touch panel display includes: a first detection unit which detects an object coming in contact with the touch panel display; and a second detection unit which detects the object moving to the outside of a display item area while being in contact with the touch panel display, after detecting the object coming in contact with the touch panel display in the display item area. When the display item is in a flick or drag operation detection area, the information processing device executes a control operation which does not execute a process related to the display item, in response to the detection executed by the second detection unit. |
