1,027,189. Lamp-holders. BRITISH LIGHTING INDUSTRIES Ltd. March 17, 1965, No. 11376/65. Heading H2E. A resilient mounting 10 for a lamp-holder 17, for receiving one end of a tubular lamp 19, has an arm 12 which engages in an aperture 21 in the lamp -holder and an arm 13 which is biased so as to force the lamp-holder against the arm 12. The arm 13 may engage the outer surface of the lamp-holder as shown, or alternatively (Fig. 4, not shown), may fit inside the end of the lamp-holder. In the latter case the end of the arm 13 is forked so that it will slide over a screw provided in the lampholder and so limit the movement of the lampholder towards the support 16. The arm 12 may also be provided with an aperture through which the end of the screw-driver may be pushed to assist in levering the arm 12 out of the aperture 21. |
