PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a vehicle access from a wireless communication device.SOLUTION: A vehicle access control system 100 has a vehicle element 102 which is configured to provide an access to a vehicle 104 when a vehicle reservation is received from a wireless device 106 through a communication link 108. The wireless communication device is connected to a data network 114 through a long-distance wireless communication link 112 such as a cellular communication link, a satellite communication link or the like. The vehicle reservation is received from a center server 110 provided on a data network through the long-distance wireless communication link or a wired link by the wireless communication device.
