LINE POWER CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM OF UNIFIED POWER FLOW CONTROLLER

A line power control method and system of a unified power flow controller (UPFC), the control system comprising an outer loop line power control, an inner loop valve side current control and converter valve control; the outer loop line power control calculates and obtains a series side converter valve side current reference value according to input line power instructions (P ref, Q ref), measured line voltage (U L), and measured line power (P line, Q line), and the inner loop valve side current control calculates and obtains a converter output voltage reference value (U cref) according to valve side current reference values(I sedref, I seqref) outputted by the outer loop power control, measured valve side current and measured valve side voltage; the converter outputs respective voltage and controls the line power to reach the reference value according to the voltage reference value. The control system can achieve independent and decoupling control of active line power and reactive line power.
