<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which does not deteriorate maintainability of an evaporator even when a protection grille is provided for covering the evaporator.SOLUTION: In an air conditioner 100, a protection grille 39 is arranged on an upstream side of an evaporator 64 in an airflow passing through the evaporator 64. The protection grille 39 has: an opening 391 for exposing 70% or more of an upstream side surface of the evaporator 64; and a detachable second protection grille 392 for covering the opening 391. In this air conditioner 100, a user or a service person can access the evaporator 64 by removing the second protection grille 392 from the protection grille 39, without removing the protection grille 39, so that cleaning and maintenance work of the evaporator 64 become easy.</p> |
