PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing load for estimating facility scale.SOLUTION: A peak-cut facility scale estimation device is provided. The device includes a clustering section, a representative time series extraction section and a problem solution section. An N-dimensional coordinate is represented by pairing time series data of a prediction value of power demand per unit period and time series data of a prediction value of a photovoltaic power generation amount per unit period. In the case where a plurality of N-dimensional coordinates are present for different periods, the clustering section classifies the plurality of present N-dimensional coordinates into one or more groups in accordance with shortness of a distance between the N-dimensional coordinates. For each of the one or more groups, the representative time series extraction section identifies an N-dimensional representative coordinate that is representative of the group. On the basis of the identified one or more N-dimensional representative coordinates, the problem solution section calculates the scale of a power supply facility. |
