PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to reliably prevent a malicious user from obtaining a printed matter without charge.SOLUTION: A charging section 301 charges a fee in response to a printed matter generated in an image forming section 140. An error detection section 302 detects an error in the image forming section 140 generating the printed matter. A determination section 303 determines whether the error in the image forming section 140 has been intended by a user or not, on the basis of a result detected by the error detection section 302. A charging condition changing section 304 changes charging conditions of the charging section 301 charging a fee when the determination section 303 determines that the error has been intended by the user. |
