SWITCHING DEVICE

A switching device is provided. The switching device includes: a switch for controlling a current flowing along an inductive element; and a signal control circuit which turns on/off the switch. A start section includes continuous first to n-th cycles (n is an integer). The signal control circuit samples first to n-th sampling voltages in each of the first to n-th cycles. An n-th convergence voltage is formed by using at least two of the first to the n-th sampling voltages. The signal control circuit generates a reset signal for turning off the switch by using an n-th convergence voltage.
