Disclosed are a device and method for sensing fire. The device for sensing fire includes an oscillating circuit oscillated by operation of a transistor. The device for sensing fire sets a base-emitter voltage of a transistor according to whether an oscillation circuit is oscillated or not, and calculates a temperature by using a predetermined base-emitter voltage. The device for sensing fire determines whether fire occurs or not by using a calculated temperature. |
