PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal laminate sheath cable which is safe without adverse effects on the environment, exerts a rat-repellent effects stably for a long period and is excellent in terminal processability in connection.SOLUTION: A production method of a metal laminate sheath cable 10 in which a longitudinally applied coating layer of a lamination metal tape 31 and a sheath are formed, in order, through specified clearances in the outer periphery of a cable core 1. The method comprises inserting the cable core 1 into a metal pipe 27, applying the laminate metal tape 31 vertically, while superimposing both edges on the outer periphery of the metal pipe 27, to form into a cylindrical shape, holding the superimposed part between the metal pipe 27 and a heating die part 23 to fuse together thermally so as to form the vertically applied coating layer of the laminate metal tape 31 and then forming the sheath on the outer periphery of the vertically applied coating layer of the laminate metal tape. |
