PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine in a short time, the quality of a coating film formed on the surface of a metal.SOLUTION: A quality determination method of a coating film in a first embodiment, which is a quality determination method of a coating film formed on the surface of a metal, includes a step (S1) for applying impact to the coating film, a step (S2) for immersing the metal and the coating film into alkali liquid, and a step (S3) for determining the quality of the coating film on the basis of a difference between an appearance of the coating film before the impact is applied thereto and an appearance of the coating film after being immersed into the alkali liquid.
