A method comprising, at a mobile electronic device, which is arranged to communicate with and remotely control a vehicle in several driving modes: to receive a first type of in-signal, specifying a special driving mode for the vehicle, and in response to such a first type of in-signal: to set the electronic device into a special steering configuration, which means that the electronic device is configured to remotely control one or several functions in the vehicle, connected to the special driving mode, wherein subsequent second type in-signals to the electronic device may control the functions or functions in real time; and to receive one or several second type in-signals specifying control of the function or functions of the vehicle, when the electronic device is in the special steering configuration, and to control the function or functions in the vehicle, connected to the special driving mode for the vehicle, in real time, based on the one or several in-signals of the second type.
