A retractable arm assembly for a vehicle may include a vehicle component comprising an interior space accessible via an aperture and an arm member. The arm member is movable at least partially through the aperture between a stowed position in which the arm member is at least partially retracted into the interior space of the vehicle component and a deployed position in which the arm member is at least partially extended. The arm member comprises a support platform configured to contact and support an object. The arm member comprises a retaining surface that extends above the support platform at a distal end of the support platform and is configured to contact the object to maintain the object in a viewing position. The support platform and retaining surface are configured to form a groove to receive at least the base of the object to support the object in the viewing position.
