Embodiments of the present invention relate to a multi-view telepresence service providing method and an apparatus thereof. The multi-view telepresence service providing method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps: forming a lecture session with multiple user terminals; receiving, from multiple imaging devices, an image of at least one user among the users corresponding to the user terminals, and transmitting at least one image among the received images to the multiple user terminals; in the case of receiving target user image recognition information from one of the multiple user terminals, checking the target user corresponding to the target user image recognition information and determining a target user terminal corresponding to the checked target user; and transmitting the image captured by the target user terminal to the user terminal. According to embodiments of the present invention, smooth interaction between a large number of participants can be possible. |
