Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for measuring a body size of a customer on the internet. The present invention comprises: in a smartphone, a camera module continuously photographing a user in front of the user while the user spins by 360 degrees to generate a plurality of images; a diameter calculation module checking a width and a length of a set body portion being changed according to a photographing angle from the images generated by the camera module, and dividing the sum of the width and the length being changed according to the check result by the number of the images to calculate a diameter; a body circumference calculation module calculating the circumference in accordance with the diameter calculated by the diameter calculation module; and a control module controlling the camera module to photograph the user while any one among a ruler with a known length, a credit card and paper money is being attached on a predetermined portion of the user′s body, determining whether the length and the shape of the ruler, the credit card or the paper money photographed by the control operation are the same as the length and the shape having been already known, and if determined to be the same, allowing the camera module to perform the continuous photographing, and according to the determination result, performing a guide operation of changing the direction that the user sees the camera module or adjusting a distance from the camera module via a touch screen or a speaker. |
