DC TRACTION POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM USING PARALLEL PULSE WIDTH MODULATION(PWM) CONVERTER

The present invention relates to a power feed system using multiple pulse width modulation (PWM) converters. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the power feed system includes: an electric transformer which converts a voltage of AC power; multiple rectifiers which are connected to the electric transformer in parallel and rectify the AC power converted by the electric transformer to DC power; and a control unit which controls the operation of the rectifiers. The rectifiers are PWM converters and have output ends connected to each other in parallel. The control unit controls the power feed system to output a voltage outputted from the output end of the PWM converters in a predetermined value and controls the the PWM converters to perform switching operations in different phases.
