A cuff support 50 is arranged by being inserted between the cuff parts 24 of the adjacent pieces of slot paper 23 from the base end side of stator teeth 22 in such a manner that tip-side ends of stator teeth 22 of the cuff parts 24 of the adjacent pieces of slot paper 23 get away from each other and get on a stator core end surface 20a.
