ADAPTIVE SCHEDULING AND HARQ MANAGEMENT FOR COOPERATIVE TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a framework which can support cooperative communication using a variety of relay mechanisms.SOLUTION: HARQ management, scheduling and measurement for cooperative communication are provided in particular. The present method can be used in a state of using a relay node in which a relay or a support mechanism may be a relay node which is a part of a stationary infrastructure or a mobile wireless transmission/reception unit (WTRU). In the above state, first transmission having first data is established between an evolved Node B (eNB) and the WTRU. Also, second transmission having second data is established between the relay node (RN) and the WTRU. The first data and the second data are coupled for decoding. Single HARQ feedback related to the first transmission and the second transmission is transmitted from the WTRU to the eNB.
