An electronic device and method for controlling a deformable display are provided. The method includes sensing deformation of the display, comparing a degree of the sensed deformation with a predetermined value, dividing at least a part of the display based on a result of the comparison, determining at least a part of divided areas to be an active area or inactive area, and controlling at least part of information displayed in at least a part of the divided areas. |
