PREPARATION METHOD OF ORGANIC ZINC CATALYST AND POLY(ALKYLENE CARBONATE) RESIN

The present invention relates to a method for producing an organic zinc catalyst which ensures production of an organic zinc catalyst having the more uniform and minute grain diameter and exhibiting more improved activities in a polymerization process for producing a poly(alkylene carbonate) resin. The present invention further relates to a method for producing a poly(alkylene carbonate) resin using the organic zinc catalyst obtained by the method. The method for producing the organic zinc catalyst comprises a step of forming a zinc dicarboxylate-based catalyst by reacting dicarboxylic acid with a zinc precursor which is surface-treated by using a dispersing agent, and the step is carried out with the presence of dicarboxylic acid existing in a greater number of moles than the surface-treated zinc precursor in a reaction system throughout the reaction.
