1. A method for producing a hydroxyapatite-coated ceramic core component having a Ti-containing layer comprising the steps of:
coating a ceramic core component comprising aluminum oxide with a titanium-containing layer, wherein the titanium-containing layer comprises at least one of Ti or a TiAl6V4-alloy, wherein the titanium-containing layer is up to 5 μm thick, subjecting said titanium-containing layer to a sand blasting process to achieve a roughness of Ra 40 to 50 μm, and applying hydroxyapatite to the roughened titanium-containing layer to form the hydroxyapatite-coated ceramic component having a Ti-containing layer. |
