PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control cable that has improved responsiveness by preventing elongation of an inner cable, and is also suitable for an increase in length.SOLUTION: A control cable 10 comprises: an operation-side unit 200 having an operation-side pulley 21; a drive-side unit 300 disposed apart from the operation-side unit 200, and having a drive-side pulley 31; an inner cable stretched between the operation-side pulley 21 and the drive-side pulley 31, a part of which is fixed to the operation-side pulley 21 and the drive-side pulley 31; and an outer casing 15 connected to the operation-side unit 200 and the drive-side unit 300, into which the inner cable can be inserted. A portion of the inner cable that is in contact with the operation-side pulley 21 and the drive-side pulley 31 is formed of a twisted wire 141 consisting of a plurality of strands, and at least a part of a portion of the inner cable that is not in contact with the operation-side pulley 21 and the drive-side pulley 31 is formed of a high-rigidity wire 442 that is more rigid than the twisted wire 141. |
