PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for mapping of application control information and broadcast service, and to allow for control of an application subjected to binding to only a specific service, even in an operation environment (e.g., multi-organization) where there are multiple services.SOLUTION: In a receiver, an application information table acquiring section acquires an application information table included in a broadcast signal received by a broadcast receiving section, and determines whether or not the service identification information for identifying the broadcast service under reception is included in a service binding descriptor, with reference to the service binding descriptor. Only when a determination is made that the service identification information for identifying the broadcast service under reception is included in a service binding descriptor, an application execution control section controls execution of an application associated with the service under reception, based on the application information table. |
