PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction roller transmission capable of improving lubrication performance for lubricating a ball bearing even at a high revolving speed.SOLUTION: A friction roller transmission comprises: an input shaft 10: a sun roller; an annular roller; intermediate rollers; and an output shaft 50, the output shaft 50 being lower in revolving speed than the input shaft 10, and is configured so that an inserted shaft portion 54 formed in an end portion of the output shaft 50 is inserted into a central shaft hole 12 formed in an end portion of the input shaft 10, and a ball bearing 80 is provided between an inner circumferential surface of the central shaft hole 12 and an outer circumferential surface of the insertion shaft portion 54. The ball bearing 80 includes a plurality of rolling elements 86 rolling between and contacting with an outer-ring orbit surface 82 disposed on an inner circumferential side of the central shaft hole 12 and an inner-ring orbit surface 84 disposed on an outer circumferential side of the inserted shaft portion 54. |
