[Also in Division H1] Parts 41 of a contact spring stack are collected from a series of feed slides such as 42 to form a " pile-up " of insulators and contact springs. The parts 41 are stacked in the feed slide 42 under a weight 48 and are pushed by members 43, 44 linked to a slide 65 which is moved at the instant when a receptacle 26 passes under the slide. As the part is pushed it slides along an inclined plane 49 and is guided by " pinch springs " 46, 47 so as to be hooked by a pin 39 of the receptacle. |
