The present invention relates to a microorganism producing O-acetyl homoserine in high efficiency, and to a method for producing O-acetyl homoserine and L-methionine by using the microorganism. Disclosed in the present invention are a microorganism enhancing an activity of a protein estimated to discharge O-acetyl homoserine, and a method for producing O-acetyl homoserine and L-methionine using the microorganism.
