<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an artificial lipid membrane with no organic solvent formed on a micropore of a substrate, and to provide the substrate for holding the artificial lipid membrane. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the artificial lipid membrane on the micropore of the substrate, lipid pattern 5 is formed on the circumference of the micropore 4 formed on the substrate 1, the lipid pattern 5 is expanded by means of the electroformation method, the expanded lipid pattern is allowed to fuse together, and the fused lipid pattern of the each micropore further expands and form a dome-shaped lipid membrane 7 with no organic solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
