<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charger image-developing toner composition and the developer, having satipactory fixability characteristics and a wide temperature range and capable of restraining offsets by using a polyester resin cross-linked with a specified compound. SOLUTION: This polyester resin used as the binder resin is a polyester resin obtained by using (1) a>=5-valuent epoxy compound, (2) a polybasic acid compound selected from a >=2-valent polybasic acid and/or an acid anhydride and/or a polybasic acid compound selected from these lower alkyl ester, and (3) a >=2-valent polyol, by feeding all of them at one time and reacting them, or first reacting (1) with (3) and then, reacting them with (2), or reacting (1) with (2), and then, reacting them with (3). The epoxy compound (1) can be embodied by a cresol-novolak type epoxy resin and a phenol-novolak type epoxy resin and the like, and the >=2-valent polybasic acid (2) can be embodied by phthalic anhydride and terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, orthophthalic acid and the like. the >=2-valent polyol (3) includes 1, 4-cyclohexane-demethanol and ethylene glycol and the like.</p> |
