DIAL-UP ROUTER, AND ITS CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial-up router allowing Internet connection of a network terminal in a stage where a cell-phone terminal is connected.

SOLUTION: The dial-up router 1 includes: a PPP connection means 12 acquiring address information including an IP address of a DNS (Domain Name System) by carrying out connection of a line to an ISP (Internet Services Provider) via a cell-phone terminal 4; an address storage means 13 storing the address information; and an IP address allocation means 14 allocating an unused address from an IP address range on an LAN side to an update request requested from a network terminal 5 to distribute it to the network terminal 5 along with an IP address allocation time representing a valid period, wherein the dial-up router 1 is characterized in that the IP address allocation means 14 sets the IP address allocation time in a short time to distribute it to the network terminal 5 when the IP address of a DNS server is not stored in the address storage means 13.
