PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of suppressing poor lubrication in a cylinder, in the internal combustion engine lubricated by fuel. SOLUTION: The control device of the internal combustion engine controlling the internal combustion engine lubricated by fuel comprises a pressure controlling means controlling cylinder internal pressure which is pressure acting on a combustion chamber side in a piston provided in a cylinder of the internal combustion engine. When fuel supply to the internal combustion engine is stopped (S10), control lowering the cylinder internal pressure is lowered as compared with pressure acting on an opposite side to the combustion chamber side in the piston by the pressure controlling means is carried out (S20, S40).
